PrinterCare's C# application and wrapper are independent additions. The
bundled EWR library applies installer/patches/ewr-no-raw-trace.patch to stop
writing raw USB trace files, which can contain device identifiers.
It also applies installer/patches/ewr-run-lock-fail-closed.patch so a failed
process lock prevents device access.
The distribution includes these patches under licenses/ewr-patches/.
database.json remains unchanged.
The upstream repository did not contain a separate NOTICE file at this revision.

EWR credits its printer-profile data sources in its README: reinkpy, ez-reset,
reink, and Gutenprint. See the upstream README for their credits and links.
